Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of marrying the man of my dreams and having the most beautiful wedding imaginable. In the upcoming months, weeks and days to my wedding the nerves set in. On my list of “must haves” having the most elegant florals were at the top. After all, they are in every picture of your special day. After many floral consultations with other businesses in Amarillo, I had become very discouraged that nobody understood the image I had in mind. Then by the grace of God, I stumbled into McKenzies shop. BY COMPLETE ACCIDENT. McKenzie was cleaning up her shop, after having an event I believe, and I had walked through the door with many questions. Instead of turning me away and setting up an appointment, she stopped what she was doing to sit down with me and talk. McKenzie made the entire thing about me and what I wanted. And as a worn out discouraged bride, that was exactly what I needed. She showed me all of her work and I was amazed. After spending about an hour with McKenzie I knew she was the one that I would entrust this task with.
She was very prompt to respond when I had any questions and she also checked in every so often to see how I was doing in general. She was by far the most pleasant vendor I had worked with for my wedding.
As the morning of my wedding arrived, I was a wreck. I was running around doing last minute things for the venue, when I looked up and saw McKenzie delicately working on my arch. I had shown her a photo of how I would have liked my arch decorated and she blew it out of the water. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen! I couldn’t help but to feel overcome with love and appreciation. Shortly after I laid eyes on my bouquet and it stole my breath away. It was everything I had imagined and more.
McKenzie is the most passionate and caring woman! I can honestly say my wedding wouldn’t have been the same without her. She is very passionate about her talent and that is very hard to find. I would recommend her 1,000 times over again!
